Heart disease one condition that most people die with and the number of people dying from the disease increases every year. Studies had proven the link of periodontal disease with other medical conditions especially with heart diseases.
Poor oral hygiene is the main culprit why people experience periodontal disease. Poor oral hygiene means allowing bacteria to live in the mouth. Bacteria forms into plaque. Plaque produces acids and toxins that are responsible with the inflammation of the gums. Periodontal disease increases the risk of heart disease because the infection in the mouth can spread all over the body and it may block the blood vessels resulting to heart attack and other forms of heart disease.
Periodontal disease treatment is an early prevention of certain heart disease. Periodontal disease can be prevented by having superior oral hygiene which includes brushing and flossing, using oral rinse that are all- natural is an effective way in eliminating bacteria.
